The aims
Your first aim of the interview is for you
to find out whether the job is right for you. You therefore
need to find out about the organisation and the job.
If the job is right for you, your second aim is to convince
the interviewer that you are right for them.
Too often interviewees forget the first aim. They give
the impression that they will accept any job is offered.
They are too anxious to please – not anxious enough
to probe. They go through an interview far too passively,
waiting for questions rather than asking them.
